Debbie's BBQ Prawns ๐Ÿค

I am no masterchef, but I doย have some recipes up my sleeve thatย are huge crowd pleasers. It is with great pleasure that l share with you one of my most loved dishes. The reason l know is that people keep asking me for the recipe ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

Ingredients

  • 500 g Australian green prawns, peeled with tails intact
  • 1 lime
Marinade
  • 1 cup chopped coriander or parsley, or both
  • 1 chilli, chopped ๐ŸŒถ
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 cm piece of ginger, gratedย 
  • 1/3 cup honeyย 
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Method

    1. Combine all marinade ingredients and pour over prawns
    2. Marinate for up to 6 hrs if you have time
    3. Hubby says to barbecue until they turn a little pink
    4. Drizzle with lime juice to serve

    Tips and Tricks

    • For pouring consistency, heat the honey and cool
