Molon Lave Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a premium Greek olive oil produced in the Lakonia region of the Peloponnese, near Sparta. The name "Molon Lave" (ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ) translates to "Come and take [them]," a historic phrase attributed to King Leonidas I of Sparta around 490 BC, when the Persian army demanded that the Spartans surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae.
It’s come to symbolize a strong stand against oppression—saying, in effect: "If you want to take what’s mine, you’ll have to come and fight for it." Today, people use it to express unwavering commitment to their rights, freedom, and values, especially in the face of overwhelming force.
